1. Why does "New Grass Schedule" suit seeded lawns?

Newly planted grass or freshly seeded lawns require frequent watering is that their root systems are not yet fully matured and established, making it difficult for them to absorb sufficient water and nutrients. In addition, they are also susceptible to environmental factors such as dryness, high temperatures, and exposure to wind and sun. Therefore, in order to ensure their healthy growth and development, frequent watering is necessary during the initial stages of growth to keep the soil moist and provide the necessary water and nutrients. Once the root systems are established and growth has begun, watering frequency can gradually be reduced.

ImoLaza's "New Grass Schedule" is designed to water lawns frequently, specifically for newly seeded or transplanted grass. It offers multiple start times, allowing for optimal watering intervals to promote healthy growth and survival of the grass.

That's kind of your job, Water Duration Expert™ is not available in this scheduling model. It's recommended to water each zone for 3 - 5 minutes per watering cycle.

4. Is the duration I set for each zone the duration for each individual watering cycle, or the total duration for that zone for the entire irrigation schedule?

Please note, the duration set for each zone refers to the length of each individual watering cycle, not the total duration for that zone throughout the irrigation schedule.
