ImoLaza is considered one of the most stable controllers on the market, with strong signal reception capabilities. However, it's important to note that some users may be transitioning from non-smart controllers to ImoLaza, and the location where the non-smart controller was previously installed may not provide a strong enough WiFi signal to support ImoLaza's normal operation.

To ensure the controller functions properly, the strength of the WiFi signal is of utmost importance, making your choice of installation location crucial. The distance between the controller and the router significantly affects the WiFi signal strength the controller receives. To determine if your installation location can adequately receive a strong WiFi signal to support the controller's normal operation, please consider the following points.

 

1. If you haven't yet installed the controller, please stand next to the intended installation location and check the WiFi signal strength on your phone. Make sure you have at least a stable two-bar signal. If this condition is met, you can proceed with installing the device in that location. If not, consider moving to a closer location to the router or relocating the router closer to the controller, then recheck the signal.

 

 

2. If your installation location cannot be changed, and the controller cannot receive a strong WiFi signal at that location, you may need a more powerful router or a WiFi extender.

3. If your controller is already installed, but the WiFi signal fluctuates, go to "Settings" - "Controller Settings" - "Device Info" and check the SSID. If you consistently see only one dot of signal strength, there may be a network issue. In this case, consider purchasing a more powerful router or a WiFi extender.
