How to Connect Sensors to ImoLaza Controllers

Our ImoLaza ET, ImoLaza Mini, and ImoLaza Ultra controllers all support external sensors, including:

  • Rain Sensor (pauses watering during rainy days)

  • Flow Meter (monitors water usage and detects leaks)

  • Soil Moisture Sensor (adjusts watering based on soil conditions)

Even though the three models look different, the wiring method is almost the same: each sensor usually comes with two wires that need to be connected to the Sensor terminals on the controller. Once the wires are connected, you just need to enable the corresponding sensor function in the ImoLaza App.

General Wiring Steps

1. Power Off First: Always cut off the power before wiring to avoid damage.

2. Locate the Sensor Terminals: All models have a port marked "S".

3. Connect the Sensor Wires: Insert the two wires into the sensor terminals.

4. Enable in the App: Open the ImoLaza App and activate the corresponding sensor option.

Important Notes

  • Always disconnect power before wiring.

  • Make sure the controller is protected from direct water exposure.

  • If you are connecting multiple sensors, remember to enable each one separately in the App.

Conclusion

Whether you’re using ImoLaza ET, Mini, or Ultra, connecting a rain sensor, flow meter, or soil moisture sensor is simple and straightforward. The appearance of each controller may differ, but the wiring logic is the same, so you can finish installation in just a few minutes.
